Update Safety Stock

Update safety stock (minimum stock) for the products at required facilities from the HotWax Commerce's OMS administrator app.

Safety Stock will be set in bulk for the selected products at all the associated facilities.

To manage safety stock for products at all facilities in bulk:

  1. Go to the Hamburger Menu > PIM > Products to open the View Products page

  2. Choose filters to extract the desired search results.

  3. Click the Manage Safety Stock function.

  4. Enter the value of safety stock you want to add for the products in the search results.

  5. Click the Export function.

  6. Verify that the CSV file is downloaded to your system.

  7. Go to the EXIM subsection.

  8. Find the Imports category and then the Warehouse subcategory.

  9. Traverse to Safety Stock and click to open the Safety Stock Import Data page.

  10. Upload the updated CSV file to update the safety stock value for the existing facilities.

  11. Check the status is updated as Finished in the .

To set safety stock for a product at specific facilities, users can download a sample CSV file from the the Safety Stock Import Data page, manually update the data, and save the file.
