Gift Card Activation

The BOPIS App allows store staff to activate gift cards directly while fulfilling orders. This helps in handling gift card items without switching to any other system.

When Does the Gift Card Activation pop-up Appear?

The activation pop-up opens when a staff member taps on a gift card item from the orders list.

Steps to Activate a Gift Card

Step 1: Enter the Activation Code The staff member can scan or manually type the serial number printed on the physical gift card. It must correct before moving forward, because it cannot be edited later.

Step 2: Tap the Activate Button After entering the code, tap the Activate button (shown with a gift card icon). A confirmation message will appear - This gift card code will be activated. The customer may also receive a notification about this activation. Please verify all information is entered correctly.

Step 3: Confirm Activation Tapping Activate completes the process. After activation, the code cannot be changed but can be viewed by tapping the gift card icon.

Product Information Display

To help verify the gift card item, the app displays the product name and price; other identifiers like SKU or barcode may also be shown.
