# Troubleshooting

Find help with BOPIS notifications, order visibility, and app access.

Start by confirming the facility selected in `Settings` and the order's current status. An order can move from `Open` to `Packed` or `Completed` as fulfillment progresses.

| Problem                                      | What to check                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         |
| -------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| New-order notifications do not appear | Check device notification permission, topic registration, and the notification job in [Notification Error](/documents/store-operations/orders/bopis/troubleshooting/notifications-error.md). |
| An order is missing from the current tab | Confirm the [selected facility](/documents/store-operations/orders/bopis/settings-page.md#facility), then check [Open Orders](/documents/store-operations/orders/bopis/open-orders-page.md), [Packed Orders](/documents/store-operations/orders/bopis/packed-order-tab.md), and [Completed Orders](/documents/store-operations/orders/bopis/completed-orders-tab.md). |
| An item cannot be fulfilled | Review the item and rejection scope in [Open Orders](/documents/store-operations/orders/bopis/open-orders-page.md#reject-orders) before confirming a rejection. |
| The app or facility is unavailable to a user | Check the user's Security Groups, app permissions, and facility access in [Troubleshoot application access](https://github.com/hotwax/oms-documentation/tree/user-guides-pub/documents/system-admin/administration/users/troubleshooting/application-access-issue.md). |

After correcting the cause, repeat the affected step and confirm the order or notification appears at the expected facility. Record the order ID, facility, and exact error if the problem remains.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.hotwax.co/documents/store-operations/orders/bopis/troubleshooting.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
